Scope and Contents note
Cortland F. Luce, Jr. was a member of the Dixie Camera Club; a group of photography professionals and enthusiasts. The photographs in this series include images he took as a member of that club and consist of images of buildings such as Atlanta Terminal Station, Roswell Elementary School, and Morgan Falls School. Also included are photographs of Atlantans at work including airline baggage handlers, an automobile mechanic, a barber, a gas station attendant, a mailman, and a traffic instructor. The final group of images consists of photographs of people in attendance at the Lakewood Fairgrounds in Atlanta. Information on the back of many of the photographs includes the type of camera and film used.
