Series
Scope and Content
This series consists of genealogical records, correspondence, an election oath, and newspaper clippings. Genealogical records include research related to Gatin’s employer, Central of Georgia Railway; his church, the Church of the Immaculate Conception; and Gatins’ court deposition on behalf of two Irish merchants, John and James Lynch. Correspondence is between Gatin’s great-great-grandson, Joseph Francis Miguel Gatins and Dr. Thomas Dyer about Joseph Gatins.
