This series also details the institution’s programming and projects, including textile designs created for President Harry S. Truman’s yacht, the U. S. S. Williamsburg; the 1958 exhibit, “Weavers of Rabun,” which appeared at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.; and fabrics used in a 1963 line of clothing for internationally known fashion designer Laura Willis.
