This collection contains one book of Claiborne Family genealogy. The book is an extensive history of the family handwritten by various family members over several generations. It contains various types of information including drawings of family shields and other sketchings. The book is indexed in the front by the names of family members. Included are family genealogical charts, biographical sketches, and various other notes taken from research regarding the families' European roots. Some of the items referred to date from 1000 A.D. Most of the information copied dates from the mid-1800s to the turn of the century.
