Scope and Content
The collection contains material pertaining to the cases in which Wallace served as judge advocate (trial correspondence and proceedings), materials relating to Wallace's Marine service, including payrolls, notice of relief from active duty, home address roster of staff officers, Marine dance invitation, etc., drafts of the historical monograph, The New Britain Campaign, personal items relating to business, notes on the trials at which he served, letters to family and friends, and newspaper clippings of interest to Wallace. The collection also includes two scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings of articles and poems, programs, and other memorabilia.
