This series primarily contains materials about the Democratic Party and its affiliates. Organizations represented are the Georgia Association of Citizens Democratic Club, the Democratic National Committee, and the Democratic Club of Georgia. Materials include correspondence, press releases, speeches, flyers, and other campaign ephemera. The majority of the materials concern the 1952 presidential election in which Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected. Also included are statements published by the Republican National Convention, which Walden used to support Democratic candidates. Of particular note is Walden's invitation to Lyndon B. Johnson's inaugural ball in Washington, D.C.
