This series primarily contains the correspondence of William Franklin Slaton (1831-1916), Governor John M. Slaton (1866-1955), his wife Sarah Francis 'Sallie Fannie' Grant Slaton (1870-1945), and Martha Lee Slaton (1869-1964). Additional Slaton family material includes autograph albums, invitations, publications, scrapbooks, and speeches. Of particular interest are the personal correspondence of John Slaton written during his time as governor and invitations and programs to Atlanta events.
