Scope and Content
This series contains correspondence, financial records, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, diaries, publications, and printed material documenting the lives of Eliza Jones and her husband, A. Waldo Jones. Correspondence mainly documents family life, genealogy questions, and current events. The largest series of letters is between Eliza Jones and her mother, Eliza Leiper Winslow Woolford, written when Jones was at boarding school and college. The series also contains documents pertaining to the Jackson, Waldo, and Martin families through which Waldo was related and the Winslow family through which Eliza was related.
