This collection contains images collected by Rubie Austin Acker of Confederate memorial events in Georgia, including the Battle of Jonesboro Centennial Celebration in 1964 in Jonesboro, Georgia, as well as images of the Patrick R. Cleburne Confederate Memorial Cemetery. Also included are group portraits of United Daughters of the Confederacy, Frankie Lyle Chapter members. Of particular note are photographs of the 100th Confederate Memorial Day event at Oakland Cemetery in 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia, and two paintings of Confederate General Robert E. Lee (1807-1870) and Jefferson F. Davis (1808-1889), president of the Confederate States of America.
