Retaining wall and landscape study for Paradiso, Druid Hills, 1988, undated
Scope and Contents
This series includes maps of Atlanta, neighborhood maps, and buildings in the city. Items include national register boundary maps for Candler Park, Grant Park, Peachtree Highlands-Peachtree Park, Peachtree Heights East, and Midtown, which document proposed boundary increases, mark the contributing and non-contributing areas to the neighborhood's historical status, and lot vacancies. There are also general neighborhood maps of Garden Hills, Tuxedo Park, and Washington Park.
This series also has annotated maps of Atlanta such as compiled cadastral maps, a Map of Great Atlanta from 1912, Northeast Atlanta Quadrangle, and maps showing residential patterns. Additionally, there are also maps of the national register districts, and a map of Atlanta neighborhoods, both of which are color coded. The series also has subdivision plat maps for Peachtree Highlands, Peachtree Park, and Peachtree Heights East that show neighborhood boundaries and area expansions. Items also include a preliminary study in Briarcliff Plaza, in Poncey-Highland, that depicts proposed expansion plans for a shopping center, and a landscape study for Paradiso, in Druid Hills, with architectural drawings of the house and greenspace plans for a redevelopment of the area and retaining wall.
