From the Series:
This series contains images related to LGBTQ+ businesses, groups, and organizations featured in Southern Voice newspaper, including advocacy organizations, bars and nightclubs, sports teams, performance and music groups, and social clubs. Of particular note are images of the Southern Voice offices and employees, as well as images of Atlanta bars and nightclubs including the Atlanta Eagle, Backstreet, and Otherside Lounge. All images were photographed in Atlanta, Georgia, unless otherwise noted.
