Scope and Content This collection contains forty-three handwritten prescriptions written by sixteen Atlanta physicians. There are two prescriptions from 1891 that do not contain the prescribing physician's name. All of the prescriptions except one (1918) are handwritten. Some of the handwritten prescriptions appear to indicate a certain type of medicine prescribed for medical treatment, but most are illegible. The prescribing physicians include Dr. J. F.
