This collection contains landscape plans drawn by Franklin and Smith for residential properties in Atlanta and other cities in Georgia and North Carolina. The plans include land surveys, plant lists, and garden features. Of special interest are the drawings of the Georgia Governor's Mansion Memorial Garden, which provide details of stonework, retaining walls, terraces, and benches.

Some of the drawings from 1982-1985 were created by Franklin-Smith Associates of which Smith was a landscape architect.
