Connally family papers
Constance Spalding Anderson photographs of the Brown, Connally, and Spalding families
This collection contains images of the Brown, Connally, and Spalding families and their friends. It primarily features identified portraits of women. Of special note is an image of Rand Peacock (possibly 1835-?), a man who was enslaved by the Connally family. Also included in the collection are signed photographs of actress Emma Abbott (1850-1891).
Joseph E. Brown Connally photographs
This collection contains photographs and a drawing relating to Joseph E. Brown Connally. Included are nine photographs of Joseph Brown Connally and unidentified family members; a drawing of the S.S. Westernland; and five images of Connally's funeral on August 29, 1920. Of special note are two photographs of a post-World War I parade of Georgia troops marching down Peachtree Street and 2 images of Captain Connally in Nice, France, after the Armistice.
