Southern Iron and Equipment Company patent records
This collection contains three patent rights documents to Frank A. Temple of Southern Iron and Equipment Company of Atlanta for an industrial cleaning apparatus and a liquid fuel burner mechanism.
Southern Nursery Association Photographs
The bulk of this collection visually documents activities and members present at the Southern Nursery Association’s annual conventions. Images of receptions, awards ceremonies, business breakfast meetings, past presidents’ club dinners, and other festivities are featured here. Spade and Trowel Garden Club records
This collection contains clippings, correspondence, flower show programs, minutes, and yearbooks that provide details on the civic and social activities of the club. Also part of the collection are scrapbooks that highlight programs, projects, and club interests. Of special note is a scrapbook devoted to the club's civic project of landscaping the traffic island at Cherokee Road and Andrews Drive.
Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory records
This collection consists of two letters from "E. Shepperson" about the Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory and a compilation of business letters and agreements written by James Burton and Edward Spiller. The papers include two contracts between the Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory and the Confederacy and correspondence between the two regarding the pistol factory.
Spratling family papers
This collection contains Frances' memory book from her time at Girls High School and the reunions that followed, as well as Quillian Spratling's entrance to Techonological High School diploma, his high school graduation diploma, and a certificate signifying his participation in the Reserve Officer's Training Corp (ROTC). Of particular note is a scrapbook created by Mattie Spratling (Frances' mother), detailing the history of Native Americans in Georgia.
St. Luke's Episcopal Church records
This collection contains the administrative records and programing materials. Included are marriage registers, minutes, and committee reports. There are also church bulletins and newsletters.
Stanton C. Therrel letter
This collection contains a letter written by Stanton C. Therrel from Cookeville, Tennessee, when he was on a business trip in Atlanta. The letter was written on stationary from the Winecoff Hotel. He wrote to his wife about the 1916 streetcar strike, to which he was a witness.

Stars for Freedom program
The Stars for Freedom program is a single item produced for the benefit concert. The program includes an introduction written by Martin Luther King, Jr., a welcoming letter from then-mayor Ivan Allen, Jr., and advertisements from local businesses (primarily located on Auburn Avenue). The program has been autographed by Lena Horne, Martin Luther King, Jr., Dick Gregory, and Mercer Ellington.
Steinheimer family documents
This collection contains property records, wills, and other business records pertaining to members of the Steinheimer family of Atlanta, Georgia. Included is a blueprint of property on West Peachtree Street belonging to Isaac Steinheimer (land lot 105, District 17); and wills for Clara Mae Steinheimer and Ruby Steinheimer.
Stephan Prothero sports publications collection
This collection consists of sports programs (baseball, football, and basketball), media guides and newspapers, predominantly from the University of Georgia and Georgia Institute of Technology, but also including, among others, Louisiana State University, Georgia Southern University, the University of Tennessee, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Braves.
