This collection contains correspondence, financial records, legal documents, and items relating to the lives of John C. Fanning and Ella Smalley Fanning. The majority of correspondence prior to 1900 was sent to Ella Smalley and relates to her education. She received numerous correspondence from J.H. Ware, Principal of Williams Creek Academy in Norwood, Georgia.
Girls High School photograph collection

Grace L. Hyatt memoir
This collection contains Grace Hyatt’s memoirs which she composed in intervals between 1980 and 2002. It includes genealogical accounts of the Lorentzson family and several accounts of her life and that of her husband, Spurgeon. Most of these accounts are recollections of her teaching career in Brunswick, Collins, and Canton, as well as her courtship with Spurgeon.
