The collection is comprised of photographs of Allen Oscar Jones, including photos of his childhood, trips to Europe and Texas, Jones with friends and family, as well as class portraits. Locations depicted in the photographs include Lakewood Park, Moreland Elementary School, Little Five Points, Houston and Galveston, Texas, and unspecified locations in Europe. The bulk of the collection is from Jones’ childhood in Atlanta in the 1940s and 1950s.

Included are professional publicity photographs of drag performers and entertainers that include Jimmy James, Cynthia Manley, Bubba McNeely, Jane Doe, and Gladys Knight. Also included are advertising flyers for special events.
Billy Jones papers
This collection contains magazine and news clippings collected by Mr. Jones that relate to Atlanta's gay clubs, performers, and members of the LGBTQ community. Some clippings more directly reflect Jones's participation in the community, including his judging of drag pageants. The collection also contains correspondence, personal documents, and travel brochures created and collected by Jones.

Topics include the construction of the Burns Cottage, the Annual Anniversary Dinner, club operations, and poetry written by club members.

Carl Mills letters to James Darsey
This collection consists of letters written by Carl Mills and sent to James Darsey. The letters track the trajectory of their relationship, beginning with their courtship and ending with their ambiguous reconciliation years later. Mills primarily wrote about his travels across California and his love for Darsey, but he also commented on how political hostility affected romantic relationships within gay and lesbian couples.

This collection consists of documents pertaining to the Apollo Room, interior decoration, and LGBT activism. These documents include Apollo Room travel brochures; an issue of House and Garden; and records documenting Stevens’s donations to Jerusalem House, a non-profit that housed low-income individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Of particular note is correspondence between Stevens and the Jerusalem House about building an HIV/AIDS clinic in Midtown.
Colonial Club minute book
This collection includes a minute book that record the organizational meetings of the Colonial Club held at the Kimball House Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The minute book includes membership lists, financial data, and a chronicle of the club's membership and decline.The club's purchase of the Mary F. Dougherty House at Peachtree Street and East Baker Streets in 1900 is detailed. The records were kept by Gordon F. Mitchell, secretary and treasurer.
