Atlanta Public Library documents

Scope and Content

The Atlanta Public Library records include correspondence and newsclippings documenting the construction of the original library and the commissioning of a marble bust of Andrew Carnegie by sculptor Gaetano Trentanove. Carrie Dyer Reading Club record books

This collection contains three books used to record the check-outs and dues of the library operated by the Carrie Dyer Reading Club. Each book is organized alphabetically by the name of the borrower, with a half or full page dedicated to each borrower. Under each individual's name there is a list of check-out and due dates, in addition to any applicable late fees.
