Laura Thompson Chapman was the wife of George Reed Chapman, who served in Company G, 24th Regiment, Georgia Infantry. He was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness (1864) in the Civil War. Additional biographical information about Laura Thompson Chapman has not been determined.
