Administrative/Biographical History

The Atlanta Obedience Club was chartered as a non-profit organization on January 7, 1953. The objectives of the club are to further the advancement and obedience training of all breeds of pure-bred dogs, to protect and advance the interests of all breeds, to encourage sportsman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trials, and to conduct sanctioned matches, obedience trials, and tracking tests under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
