Scope and Content
This collection includes four folders of personal and business correspondence of the Galhouse, Kuhn, and Brisendine families. There are also numerous files of materials on Atlanta history, which include businesses, city politics, amusements, Catholic churches, and banks.

Administrative/Biographical History
Henry Galhouse had three children: Alice, Blanche, and John Henry. Alice married John J. Kuhn between 1904-1910. They purchased a house at 310 McDonough Road (later Blvd.) and lived there until at least 1943. The family was probably Roman Catholic and spent much time attending war memorial activities. The Brisendines in particular attended Annual Encampments for the United Spanish War Veterans (U.S.V.W.).
