Warren Akin was a representative for Georgia in the Confederate Congress. Additional biographical information about Warren Akin has not been determined.


Scope and Content Note

This collection is a transcription of a letter written by Warren Akin in Elberton, Georgia to "My Dear Sir" on October 31, 1864. The letter was typed by Ruth Blair of the Atlanta Historical Society for Sally Akin. The letter refers to the hardships of surviving in the aftermath of the Civil War.
