Biographical/Historical Note

Joseph Brown Connally was the son of Mary Virginia Brown and Elijah L. Connally. During World War I he served and France and was wounded. He returned to Atlanta and died from the effects of the wound in 1920.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a scrapbook detailing the lineage of Joseph E Brown Connally. The item also contains newspaper clippings chronicling his service in World War I. The scrapbook was put together by Connally's mother, Mary Virginia Brown Connally.
