This collection contains a transcription of a diary written by Emily Jane Winkler Bealer of Atlanta, Georgia. She describes home life with her four children, schools, neighbors, illnesses, the employment of her children, church services, fires, recipes, and deaths. Date of transcription unknown but definitely before 1974. The diary was transcribed, edited, and published in 2001 by Emily Bealer Calhoun, Jr. under the title Lady of Atlanta: diary of Emily Jane Winkler Bealer.
